Prairie Engineering Ltd successfully conducted an Environmental Project Brief (EPB) for the proposed construction of a sunflower cooking oil and rice processing facility in the Light Industrial Area on Plot No. LN-8687/8 in Kawambwa District for Agripreneur Foundation Limited. The assignment involved environmental screening, stakeholder consultations, identification of potential environmental and social impacts, and development of mitigation and environmental management measures in compliance with the requirements of the Zambia Environmental Management Agency.

The Environmental Project Brief was successfully reviewed and approved by ZEMA, resulting in authorization for project implementation. Following approval, the client proceeded with implementation of the sunflower cooking oil and rice processing facility, contributing to agro-processing development, local employment creation, and value addition within Kawambwa District.
